Blog post #7 (So-Young Park)

When I published PSA writing, I did get grade which was higher than my expectation. Thus, I underestimated the difficulties of SSI and contributed less effort compared to the PSA writing, resulting me to produce a lot of mistakes. Firstly, I didn't carefully read the rubric and follow the instructions. Secondly, although I read 'Writing Analytically' and achieved useful tips and methods in writing the rhetorical analysis, I didn't attempt myself to used the tools. Therefore, I did struggle a lot while I filled out the SSI paper. Furthermore, because I did miss two classes which explained the functions and methods of SSI. Consequently, I couldn't get any hint toward SSI writing and screwed the paper. Now, I realized how slothful and idle I was toward the ARP project. After messed up the SSI paper, I did recover my initial mind toward English class, and did research the secondary resources reflecting the topic of the paper more effectively and leading more argumentative statements. To be honest, I looked down the project. I thought the project was easy. Thus, I just added some paragraphs or sentences on my PSA writing without revising them carefully, even though I read the comments and suggestions of PSA writing, which indicates that my writing has weak connection between the class's theme, class warfare. From now on, I will focus myself and put all of my effort in completing the best ARP paper by carefully following the instructions which I've achieved from the English classes and the book 'Writing Analytically'.
